ALEJANDRO MARTINEZ

Team Member

Hey! Alejandro is a third-year undergraduate student in Mechanical Engineering, He is currently located in Hood River, Oregon for the semester and will be the only fully remote person on this team. His interests include sustainability, sports technology, and woodworking!

DUNCAN LEE

Team Member

Hi! Duncan is a first-year graduate student in Mechanical Engineering. He is doing research in the Biomechatronics group in the MIT Media Lab under Dr. Hugh Herr, working on the design of transtibial prosthetic sockets. Outside of school, he loves to ski, swim, and dabbles in film photography.

KIMBERLY LAMBERTI

Team Member

Kim is a second year PhD student in the Health Sciences and Technology Medical Engineering and Medical Physics program. Her background is in mechanical and biomedical engineering with a focus on medical devices. Her current research involves mechanical circulatory support and associated heart-device interactions.

REIMAR WEISSBACH

Team Member

Reimar is a first year PhD student in Mechanical Engineering. His background is in computational engineering and its application to metal additive manufacturing, but he also gained some years of experience in management consulting prior to joining MIT. He holds degrees in MechE as well as Management and is engaged in several extracurricular activities, e.g., as One Young World Ambassador or organizing the German American Conference.

THADDAEUS MEGCHELSEN

Team Member

Thad is a senior undergraduate student in mechanical engineering. He grew up in small town Iowa but has really enjoyed the transition to big city life. His passions include roller coasters, baseball, and haunted houses.
